Capstone Lifetime Warranty

Capstone warrants for the lifetime of the original purchaser the proper installation of all roofing, siding, soffit or rain gutter products in accordance with industry standards, local building codes and manufacturer's specifications. This warranty includes the remedy of any water leaks caused from faulty installation or deterioration of caulking around pipe vents. (See below for remedies from leaks caused by manufacturer defects or premature deterioration of products before the end of the manufacturer’s warranty period.) This labor warranty is one-time transferable if the original purchaser sells the home, provided the transferee notifies the Capstone in writing, at the address below within 30 days of the property’s transfer date. The correspondence must include the original owner’s name and address, and the transferee’s name. Upon transfer, the warranty will convert to a period of 10 years from the date of the original purchase of products and services provided by Capstone. GENERAL LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS 1. Issues resulting from modifications to the home that affect the products that were originally installed by Capstone. 2. Acts of nature (hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, floods, etc.) acts of war, riots, fire, crime, building settlement, and vandalism are not covered by this warranty. 3. Manufacture defects in the actual product itself are not covered by your Capstone installation warranty. If defects or premature deterioration of the product occur prior to the end of the manufacturer’s warranty period, Capstone will investigate the claims and assist the customer to set up manufacturer warranty services. Please see the manufacturer’s warranty certificate provided to you by Capstone at the time of purchase to determine the warranties and limitations provided by the manufacturer.
